AIR PLANTS: The Low-Maintenance Plants for Neglectful Gardener

Have you seen those plants? What is "Air Plants"?

It is a indoor-plant that requires very little maintenance and gets most of its nutrients from air. Their true name are "Tillandsias."

Like succulents, Air Plant is starting to be popular these days. We have seen few appearances of this little fellow during our visit to NeoCon this year, and we believe that we have seen them in one of the areas of "Evernote Office" (See below).

Here are few facts we find about "Air Plants":

1). NO soil needed = NO MESS

2). They need a bright, but filtered sunlight (Hang it somewhere near East, South or West facing window and you are good to go)

3). Give them a weekly soak it in water for 12 hours . This plant only soak water as much as they need it.

Hope it inspires you!
